一带一路︱斯里兰卡与中国一带一路茶文化交流活动在厦举办

Belt and Road/ China and Sri Lanka Tea Culture Exchange Conference in Xiamen City

 

摘要：斯里兰卡是印度洋中的一个岛国，在东南亚、中东和非洲与中国开展贸易往来的海上路线上，中国“21世纪海上丝绸之路”战略的重要一点，一带一路的必经之地，中国政府将中斯关系视为南亚地区和推进“一带一路”建设的重要合作伙伴。

Summary: Sri Lanka is an island country in the Indian Ocean, on the route for trading between China and Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa, a strategic point of China “21st century Sea Silk Road, and only way for “Belt and Road”. Chinese government regards Sri Lanka as the important partner in South Asia and for promoting “Belt and Road” initiative.

Under the situation of promoting global green ecology, organic agriculture, Yunnan Nesting Investment (group) focuses on organic agriculture, and built the biggest organic Oolong tea garden of the world—Yunnan Shuangjiang Cloud Top Nesting Tea Estate, which is one of the leading enterprises in the China, and the tea supplier of Taiji Temple of Alibaba. In September of 2017, the culture institute of Ali Taiji Temple has been established in the Tea Garden and laid the solid foundation for organic agriculture cooperation with Sri Lanka.

In the afternoon of 26th, December, 2017, the Press Conference on tea culture exchange between China and Sri Lanka under “Belt and Road” initiative was hold in Vanilla Garden Hotel of Xiamen City, Fujian Province.

Sri Lanka is an important partner for China in Indian Ocean region under the “Belt and Road”, and also a key station of ancient marine Silk Road. Ceylon tea has been known and accepted by Chinese people for its good quality and special flavor and taste. Ceylon tea has been regarded as the “gifts to the whole world”.

Mr. Leland Lee, chief director of Scene Scent Tea, CEO of Nesting Culture Innovation Co., Ltd., said in his speech: under the policy support of boosting organic agriculture and green ecology, Yunnan Nest Group established the biggest organic tea garden in the world—the Cloud Top Nesting Tea Garden as one of the leading agricultural enterprises in Yunnan, and also as tea supplier of Taiji Temple of Alibaba, established the culture institute of Taiji Temple in Yunnan, Xiamen.

Dr. Karunasena, the Sri Lanka ambassador to China, said in his speech: Sri Lanka, as an agricultural country, will take the opportunity of this  Press Conference, encourage and welcome private and public enterprises from China, join hands with Sri Lanka to bring agriculture products of Sri Lanka to Chinese market, and push the national plan of food production to success!

总统府副书记Jayantha先生在大会致辞中表示：斯中两国有着重要的社会和经济关系。根据“一带一路”合作框架指南，我们非常高兴与您在阿里巴巴太极茶苑厦门文化驿栈，即香草园酒店，讨论斯里兰卡食品生产项目和农业现代化项目.

Mr. Jayantha, the Deputy Secretary of the Office of President, said in his speech: There are important social and economic relations between China and Sri Lanka. Under the guidance of cooperation framework of “Belt and Road” initiative, we are happy to meet you all here, in the Culture Institute of Ali Taiji Temple, in Vanilla Garden Hotel to discuss food production project and agriculture modernization project of Sri Lanka.

总理府总理公共关系顾问Jinasiri先生在会上发言表示：除了斯里兰卡国家粮食生产和农业现代化之外，斯里兰卡与中国还有许多合作的机会。例如，利用斯里兰卡废弃的国家茶叶种植园，与48万户茶园庄园主联合，逐步与有机茶生产相结合；从基础设施改善和生产到销售扩大到种植业和其他国家种植业的合作；与农业部进行农业部门现代化计划等方面的合作.

Mr. Jinasiri, public relations counselor of the Office of President pointed out that: Besides the national food production and agriculture modernization, there are more cooperation opportunities betweenSri Lanka and China. For example, cooperating with more than 480,000 owners of tea gardens to utilize the discarded national tea plantations, gradually to connect with organic tea production; From infrastructure improvement and production to expanding sale, and plantation cooperation with other countries; Cooperation on agriculture modernization with Ministry of Agriculture.

当天下午的茶文化交流环节，香草园酒店设计总监赵旭带来了茶主题房的发布以及刘凌菲设计师带来馨纤主题房的发布。        

Representatives from Ministry of Plantation of Sri Lanka also briefly introduced the agriculture of Sri Lanka in the conference.

Students from Sri Lanka studying in Xia Men University also gave wonderful cultural performances in the conference.

In the tea culture exchange activity of the afternoon, Mr. Zhao Xu, the design director of Vanilla Garden Hotel presented the tea-themed rooms, and Liu Lin Fei, the designer presented the Xin Xian theme rooms.

随着一带一路更加深入人心，相信两国不仅在推广茶文化上将更加深入，在未来，两国丰厚的文化及自然资源将不断合作，从传统中创造出新价值，弘扬海上丝绸之路的精神内涵。 

With the publicizing of “Belt and Road” policy, culture and natural resources will be integrated and recycled, new value will be created from the tradition, and the culture spirit of Silk Road will be further spread.
